Yoga Studio

Situated in one of Dunedin’s heritage buildings, nu yoga studio was an exciting restoration. Consideration was given to emphasising the heritage features, incorporating the building’s existing brick and mudstone block walls and the original kauri wooden floors whilst introducing some contemporary elements to the space. The use of Resene’s Marrakesh plaster and wax finish to some of the remaining walls added another layer and texture to the already diverse area.

The studio needed to provide an escape from the challenges of everyday life, and with the support of experienced subcontractors and quality building, the result was impressive.
