Nick Casey

Nick first joined the Buildsmart team in 2023 doing some work experience in the school holidays, this paved the way to being offered an apprenticeship position the following year.

Nick has always had a keen interest in the trades starting from a young age, whether it was helping dad in the garage, around the house or in the workshop at school.

In his time off you will find Nick playing hockey or touch, in the hills hunting, on the river fishing and depending on the season, water and snow skiing in Central Otago.
